Day one morning: book the castle interior first
Choose independent admission or a guided interior tour before adding other activities. Allow space for ticket collection, security and the walk between buildings. If attending a Lobkowicz Palace concert, use its start time as a fixed anchor and confirm that you have the separate ticket you need.
Day one afternoon: descend through Malá Strana
After a meal break, explore the castle-side streets and walk towards Charles Bridge at a comfortable pace. This is flexible outdoor time, not another paid attraction by default. Avoid adding a city walk that repeats the same castle route unless you specifically want the additional interpretation.
Day two morning: Old Town and one deeper visit
Choose the Astronomical Clock Tower for rooftop views or the Jewish Quarter for a longer heritage visit. You can see the clock from the square without buying tower entry. If visiting Josefov, check opening days and religious holidays before fixing the order of your two days.
Day two afternoon and evening: choose one river format
A short sightseeing cruise leaves dinner independent. A dinner cruise combines the meal and evening into one booking. Use the actual pier location to plan the journey, and keep a generous gap after any guided walk. The National Museum is an indoor alternative if the weather changes.
Adapt the plan rather than forcing every attraction in
For young children, shorten the historical interiors and leave more breaks. For limited mobility, check cobbles, gradients and building access directly. Move the zoo or an out-of-city excursion to an additional day instead of trying to fit either between central timed tickets.
